Otherwise, welcome to the site.

My last school was almost entirely jewish (so much so that we had days off on the jewish holidays). My current one has no (religious) jews at all, but I still have friends from there.

(Just a few examples).

Coupled with any of your unwanted White Knight-ing of various causes is why you have such a negative reputation. That and you have a habit of responding to any criticism (joking or not) with extreme prejudice and to make comments suggesting that you are rather arrogant and pretentious. (Yes, I know you asked about spam but your real question was "Why am I being singled out here?")

As for what we define as spam, basically any nonsensical, non-amusing post or anything written in all-caps, you should also avoid using the site as you would a social network. Bitching about your minor everyday problems or telling people what you had for dinner or whatever is trivial, fills up space and is of no interest to anyone other than yourself. No advertising either.

Aman or Berka may have more to add on that if they feel I left something out.

Thank you for the relatively reasonable reply.

I wasn't accusing you of spamming with your newbie thread, I was warning you to not spam in the future because myself, Aman and BZ are not going to tolerate it so nearly as much as it is tolerated on CYS. I bring this up only because, well, you spam CYS a lot.

I'd run one if I wasn't already running my own game. Berka's currently running his own (Berka's the creator of the game) down there called Mythic Nippon, but it's a closed game.

You could always try running your own though!

And I had reread the first post, so I get the gist that things have gone to 'Ghenna' (I love 'Hell' in other languages and cultures, the words just SOUND better).

Nah, just a short little adventure happening after the Week of Nightmares (Technocracy tightening up on its supervision of other supernaturals).

Yeah, but mentioning Forge's name kind of gives the impression that Forge is the Prince... The aim of the game is to keep the prince alive, even if that means that you get lynched, so saying something that gives the prince away just so that people don't suspect you is kind of the opposite of the way you're supposed to play the game.  :P

(To be fair I've seen it happen in other games where a guard comes under suspicion and responds by going, "Hey don't worry guys! I'll prove I'm not the assassin by saying something to imply who the prince is! ... Even though then the assassin will know who the prince is... But at least you won't vote for me anymore!")  :P

I was actually considering doing something like that when you guys were going to lynch me (Though I was going to give the wrong Prince's name, hope the assassin would kill the wrong guy)

That was a thought out statement that was also true. It would have arroused more supicion if I had left forges name off the list.

That statement was ridiculously stupid and untrue. You immediately singled us out as important players and, more importantly, you blatantly lied. I was trying to kill the following:

Briar, Fireplay, Hugs, Aman.

I was not trying to kill the following: Myself, Tan, you, Forge, Daedalus, Prince. (3 names missing there, bud).

Later, this was down to Fireplay and Hugs. That's 3 out of 10 players. I even specifically skipped out on Briar because her being the assassin made no sense,

You also accused me of being the assassin on the the totally bullshit explanation that my plan would work in revealing the prince... which I still don't understand, how would that work? If the prince was in the list, maybe it would have worked, but there's no reason to think the prince would draw attention to himself like that.

I was so proud of Briar when she posted that big explanation as to why we should kill forge second, by the way. She was the only one who moved  to draw suspicion away from him.

I figured acting like part of the guards/crowd would keep me from being found out earlier. I was sure Cool was the Prince though, it just seemed so likely.

Drak almost got me with one post since I responded in such a way that would give my Hunter status away. I realized right after I posted it though and deleted it. lol

Which post? (I think I saw the one you deleted, didn't suspect anything though)

While it obviously worked, I still don't think it's a sound plan. Almost all games begin with a random lynching :P

You can question it all you want, it was flawless. Would only have failed if Cool was the assassin.

No one was ever willing to put the final nail in my coffin and the one time I got the full vote Drak and a bunch of other gaurds quickly backed off? To be honest if I hadn't known it was Mrs. White I would not have picked her to be the prince.

I did that as a trap, random lynch at the beggining, and explained it as well. Shouldn't have killed you.

Really? Don't know why I would be a horrible king or assassin. I just realized that to spell assassin correctly you just need to type ass ass in. Get in that ass. lol

I'm not certain it's Miss Peach but there's a few reasons why I suspect Fireplay, the main one being is that there isn't much she's done to convince me that she's not the assassin (Earlier on I did post a list of all the characters and the things they've done that make me think they're NOT the assassin if you want to read it.) The only thing that suggests that Fireplay isn't the assassin is that he told everybody who he was at the beginning of the game, but he could have been doing that to gain our trust so we wouldn't vote for him... Also, Fireplay seems to have been playing the game quite cautiously, which could mean that he's trying to avoid suspicion.

Well, trying to avoid suspicion is perfectly natural.

I'm just voting for fireplay because he's on the list.

Wow, I missed a bit.

Well, I'll just say that I don't think Fireplay's the assassin. Just because you vote for a random lynching doesn't make you the assassin, you're just following the popular vote.

It does mean that fireplay is a potential assassin. Having ruled myself and Briar out, that leaves her and Hugs.

Change Vote: Reverend Green Miss Peach

Rose quite literally sealed her fate with that vote (had Berka not interrupted), she isn't the assassin.

... But we're not voting outside the pool. You and Cool are both voting for me and I'm voting for Fireplay. We're both in the pool.  :P

There are still more votes for Mrs Peacock than anyone else right now; and no one has enough for a lynch so we're going to have a random killing.

I way to find the assain can also find the king.

My way involves killing from a pool of 4 (now three) players. Those are fantastic odds, haha. By killing outside of that pool, you guys are making it just so much easier for the assassin. You're all being Farking ridiculous.

4743
Forum Games / Re: Hunter In The Chantry!
« on: August 16, 2014, 02:25:20 pm »
My reason is that he was the one that came up with this plan in the first place and that he is systematiclly killing everyone but himslef and me and forge off. So if he is an assaian it was a good plan to see who people would not vote for. Meaning that person is most likely the king. It is also a good plan if he is a gaurd to kill the assaian but there is still that first option.

So what you're saying is, if I find a way to find the assassin, you should kill me because i'm the assassin?

I don't normally post memes, but:

Well, how else do you propose we find the Hunter? Sitting around won't help us and he or she has proven to be quite good at getting us to kill one another. So I'm unsure of what to do right now.

(See: The plan

Also, we're two rounds in. This is how all assassin in the palace game should go).

Following that reasoning, we don't know for sure since you might be lying. We reasoned that Cool was Mrs Peacock

So... nobody payed attention to my post above mentioning cool's identity then? That's fine, let's just let the Hunter know about that without acting on it. ::)

Also I prefer to guess in these type of games, more fun. But I have a feeling it's Peacock. Not that you should trust me because apparently logic is the way to win in this game. :D

We knew Cool was Mrs Peacock way before you said anything.

What I'm asking is, why did he think it was you before, and what changed to make him think it wasn't you?

You and Tan were vying for my blood, which made people want to kill me. Then you wanted to kill Cool, and wanting to kill people makes then want to kill you back, usually. Because, you know, dying sucks.
