Ty for running the game :). It was fun, I want to join another once we've moved house and settled in a bit.

Squirrel performs first aid once Lial is into the trees.

"I also found a stack of books, I'm quite sure they're at least some of the correct ones....but, how did they know we were coming? This was a total set-up"

"If he's stabilized we need to get him out of here NOW. There are 2 guards still on the south gate who are acting strangely. You can go check it out if you want. Can one of you carry him back over the wall?  I don't like this at all.  Once we get him far enough away, I'll give him additional first aid, but not here...too sketchy." Squirrel's face immediately turn bright crimson at the enormous speech she just gave.  Then, with a disgusted look at the dead body, she heads back into the dark *relative safety* of the trees.  If someone brings Lial, she'll perform additional first aid to try and restore consciousness.

Squirrel goes into high alert and burns her steel in readiness to respond to what appears to be a trap.  She also scans the area for both enemies and metals.

Squirrel continues to play nurse.    ;D

She keeps an eye out for trouble must mostly relies on the rest of the team to look out for them.
"Uhm...guys, where's Lial?"

I found the books, i think, and I've stashed them in a safe place.  I think getting out alive might be more important than gold at this point.   She heads towards Lin with the intention to perform first aid, but won't enter the time bubble.   If the man is visible on the other side of the wall, she'll take a shot at him with her coins.

Squirrel moves towards the nearest sound but slows down to maintain stealth once she finds someone.

Ooc: if I'm really close and can take another action, pls let me know :)

Squirrel carefully checks the meeting site then finds another good hiding spot for the books up in the trees. She also breaks a few branches in a particular way so that she'll know where to look when she returns.   That completed she burns steel and begins steal-running back towards the house (if none of the others had made it then surely things had gone sideways)

Squirrel carries on to the pre-determined rendezvous point to wait for the others. She hopes noone has been killed and is horribly disturbed by how fatal this robbery turned out to be. After the mission ends, she plans to return to her adopted Terris family to seek out ways to atone for the damage she's done.

Squirrel makes her way after Karl by the more comfortable tree-top route. She looks troubled.

Squirrel checks quickly around for any other attackers, then scurries up the tree to retrieve the goods.  If all seems quiet she'll take a moment to finally look and see if she grabbed the correct book.

Ooc: she was going to turn off her steel for all this.

Squirrel uses the brief respite to use her leet-first aid skills on Karl.  After a basic patch-up, she uses the last of this burn to get back up to the hiding spot where she stashed the books.  "I'll catch up with you in a minute," she says to karl before bounding away.

Did you know your head looks a bit like a potato? (To the lurcher)...and you're bleeding a lot (to karl)," squirrel exercises her firm grasp of the obvious, while using her boosted steel running to take down Mr. spud in a similar manner to what was planned before using the shield arm for leverage." She pushes off the coins behind her to get a slight speed advantage and so mr. P. cant bring them back into play.

Ooc: Her overall goal is to knock him out so karl doesnt kill him dead in his hulkified state.

"Duck you crazy musclehead," squirrel shouts and as she burns her steel, braces herself off the wall and pushes the nearby coins up towards the the coinshot.

Ooc: she Carries on with her martial arts readiness to defend against any attacks.

"We seriously gotta get out of here!"

"Karl," Squirrel asks, while maintaining her readiness, "which one do you want? The coinshot or the lurcher?" Squirrel, feeling a bit more accommodating than usual, decides to incapacitate whichever one Karl doesn't want.  "Lets deal with these guys and get out of here! I didn't find anything and this place is too hot for me," she says in a 'not very quiet whisper'.

Ooc: it may be worth planting some misinformation, but seeing as my social skills suck, it might be ineffective and clobbering the guys might be me the way forward. :)

Squirrel braces herself both physically and metallically (burning her steel in preparation to deflect any coinshot attacks, she also braces herself my pushing her entire coin pouch against a tree behind her).  When the man attacks, she plans to use her aikido to slide towards and past his weapon.  She'll use his momentum as he swings to capture his wrist into a lock and force him to the ground. Unhappily she will give him a quick sharp blow to the temple to render him unconscious.

Ooc: my steelrunning should make initial forward momentum very quick.

Squirrel stashes her stolen goods securely in the crook between the trunk & branches of the tree, then leaps acrobatically from the trees to try and take out one of the men from above.   She also notes the locations of fallen coins used by herself and the baddies so she can slow her fall if all goes wrong.

Squirrel, true to her name, softens her impact with a coin from her pouch, then heads behind and up the nearest tree as quickly and quietly as possible to avoid any pursuit.

Ooc: sorry...I was out of town for a couple days (thought I'd have time to post though)

"Hmm...they say you can always judge a person by their bathroom and this is pretty swanky," she thought. She quickly shuts and locks the door (if it's not trashed) and decides to beat a hasty retreat.

Wasting no time opening the window ( the normal way or by force w steel if it doesnt work) and steel runs as fast as possible into the woods.  Like her namesake, she's looking for a big leafy tree to conceal herself up in before she makes her next move.

Ooc again:  yes mr.picky-pants...if I use steel to get out the window, I'll brace myself.

Squirrel takes the brief respite to flip through the books and see what she's found (tucking any of interest into her small thieving satchel). If all remains quiet, she'll make a grab for the rest of the contents in the safe.  Once finished, she flares her steal and heads for the inside door (being careful not to trip over the 2 guys she incapacitated).

OOC: she is aiming for the hallway window on the opposite side of the building (to make an escape)

Squirrel silently grumbles to herself, 'I'm never going to get 2 seconds alone with this bloody safe' and darts he hand in to pull put the small pile of books. She braces herself against the safe and steel pushes all the metal in the vicinity towards and out the bedroom window, hoping to catch the "visitor" unawares.

Squirrel grins to herself thinking, "Finally something has gone my way!". She launches off the prone guard's head and back towards the safe, hoping to knock him out properly this time. Back at the safe, she finally gets to look at the contents inside, hoping to have found the book.

Squirrel dives towards the prone guard's back (steelrunning) and uses his head/back as a brace to steel push the pistol back into it's owner's face (hopefully with enough force to knock him out).

OOC: not knowing if the hazekillers are using metal bullets or not, she tries pushing on both the pistol and the bullet, just in case the guard trying to get a round off.

Squirrel pushes against the metal on the door to the corridor to keep it shut (just in case someone decides to charge in), while trying the keys on the safe.
She mouths silently "crapcrapcrap - please work, please work, please work!"

"Well, that was...not cool at all" Squirrel thought, groaning and rubbing her bruised...pride. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any more time for self pity as she sees the misting go flying by towards the roof.  She dashes towards the partition into the 2nd floor study, stolen keys in hand (as they can be used to either knock out an attacker or *hopefully* open the wall safe.

OOC: It's pretty clear that they knew we were coming, so I'm going for speed over stealth. I've left my steel on so I can react quickly to any attacks.

Squirrel looks down at the commotion below to find out what's going on, if it's distracting enough or won't give her away, she decides to swing over the ledge feet-first (from a back-roll off the edge)  Using her momentum & her steel pushing, she's going to push the window open and try to take out the man inside with a double kick.

Squirrel decides to wait a moment and see if they man inside the room finishes gearing up and leaves.  She also takes a moment to examine any latches on the window so she can figure out how to get in.

Squirrel uses the last of her burn to check for viable metals around the area, and of course, for any guards/mistings who might also be hanging about on the rooftops. Waiting for a good gap in the guard patterns (aka. one where they aren't looking), she lowers herself carefully to a place where she can very cautiously peeks into the window.

OOC: spidergirl, spidergirl...she's so awesome you want to hurl! (I am open to better rhymes for that one :)

Squirrel takes advantage of the break and once again heads for the roof, as quickly & quietly as possible.

OOC: since I've used my steel burning to shoot a coin, I might as well use the rest of it to get onto the roof more quickly & head for the window I mentioned earlier.

To divert attention from herself, Squirrel looks round for the largest clump of bushes within her range. when the guards are not looking that way, she shoots one of her coins off into the bush to create a distraction (and hopefully disturb an animal or bird).

Squirrel makes a hasty (and extremely discreet) move towards a small hidden space she saw on the roof which was not easily viewed from the grounds.

OOC: I'm getting in position to get into the 2nd floor room which the hopes people will not be in it because of the fires. (I was planning to do this before Karl gave the signal but it seems I missed it)

Squirrel, entirely focused on the task at hand, gnaws on a fingernail and ignores the general conversation while waiting for the signal. Since the crew seemed a bit unclear, she decided it might be best if she took the slightly more difficult room.  Thinking through her plan, she reflects on the information she gathered and considers good places to access the room.  Her plan, when the signal comes, is to head towards the roof and see if it's possible to enter through the adjacent bedroom window.
