Anyway, Congrats to Steeple on getting two of the rarest disciplines in the game. Get Valeren/Obeah and Assamite Sorcery and you'll be on a cloud

Just need to find a child of Michael for the former haha!  ;D

Probably do Auspex 2 and Path of Mercury 2, with the 8 XPs.  8)

Nope... 1 point shy of that...  :(

Don't have to spend ALL your exp you know :)

Those are two excellent choices though, but considering Venetian Nights is a murder-mystery themed chapter, I'd go with Auspex 2 so that Kiril isn't the ony perceptive person in the Cotterie ;)

Definitely going with Auspex 2 so that Steeple will know everyone's dirty Diablerie Business haha! Priority Number 1!  ;D

I'll do Awareness (fark ding blast!) Empathy 1 as well.

That's 8XP.  8)

Steeple receives a reply letter.

"Steeple,

My friend, I thankyou for your concern. I do not fully comprehend some of the language in your letter though it was clear you acted in my interests. I would be interested in discussing the ritual language and words you used at a later date, I may even have some surprising information for you.

Should you wish to have my support on your endeavour against this enemy, simply let me know.

Heldric"

Results of the Assimilation project:

15 villagers from bordering towns (not of Radu's territory) seized and diablerized. 2 were priests, 1 was a nun.

Steeple's vampire blood addiction has been raised to the maximum possible level (3).

Steeple gains the dark secret flaw (Committed Diablerist).
form of schizophrenia, where he will sometimes hear mild whispers that seem to say nothing and everything at once. -2 to perception checks during these events.

Steeple gains a small advantage in acts of diablerie against other vampires (including acts against himself).

Maximus diablerizes one of Steeple's childer, and goes down one generation (9th generation now). He crushes the will of the newborn easily.

Steeple overcomes his phobia of priests and nuns - though he is still repelled by crosses!

Steeple gains +2 crafts, +1 Animal ken, +1 Academics (religion), +1 Medicine (Herbalism)

Not a good idea, it's a really really bad idea. Never teach your Childer how to Diablerize you haha!

(Steeple is mad. That's his excuse.)  ;D

John, The Deprived

For diablerizing John, Steeple gains a small measure of the Brujah Clan's inherent strength. +1 Strength, +1 Potence.

While he crushed John's will absolutely, Steeple's personality is still mildly affected. As a result of absorbing John's Vengeful nature, Steeple gains the vengeful flaw. This will manifest as Maurice refusing to allow Steeple to feed if he feels Steeple has not or is not in the process of visiting vengeance upon those who have wronged him.

It's actually not that big of a change considering Maurice was already perfectly capable of doing this, it's just that now that Steeple has the vengeful flaw there's more incentive.

Also, vengeance doesn't always have to be immediate. For example, Steeple's machinations against Vladivostok would more than suffice to fulfill that flaw.
