Edge & Power Notes
Born Leader
The character has the natural ability to encourage, motivate, and push others beyond their normal limitations. The character gains a second set of Surge Points (equal to his own), which he can give to others within the sound of his voice as a Free Action. Unlike his personal Surge Points, these are not limited to being given away just one per round - although each recipient cannot benefit from more than 1 Born Leader Surge (from any source) per round.

Evasion
The character has superior agility and grace when dodging attacks. He can use the Full Defense Action (Defend + Defend) without spending Surge Points during combat. +2 Defense (Dodge).

Spacecraft, Frigate - The Dandy Desperado
The character owns a frigate spacecraft. A Frigate Spacecraft bought with this Edge can always be repaired or replaced if damaged, lost, stolen, or destroyed during the course of the game (though it can take a few months in some cases).

Surprise Strike
The character knows how to take advantage of off-guard opponents. He does +5 damage on a successful Close Quarter attack against a Flat Footed opponent. He may use Surprise Strike only once per target each round.

Ship Edges_
Armed
The ship comes with a standard self-defense weapon package that includes: 20mmL police ship guns; Air-to-Air Missile (6) or Mini Missiles (6); and Chaff Defense (6).

Black Ice
Computer systems protection of the highest caliber, imposing a -4 Penalty to Hackers trying to get into the system and instantly alerting you of any unauthorized intrusion (allowing you to directly oppose any hacking attempts or shut the computer down).

Buffered Armour
A layer of energy dissipating material has been sandwiched between the ship’s armor and the hull, allowing the force of impacts to be diffused across a much greater area than the impact site itself.  +5 Armor Points.

Dry Landing
The ship has been modified to allow landing out of water.  (This Edge removes the Water Landing Flaw).

Dual Linked Weapons
Two of the ship’s guns, laser generators, or plasma cannons are fire-linked together, firing as one but doubling the amount of X-Damage they do.  Obviously, the ship needs two of the same type of weapon (obtained through Edges, Availability, or in-game play), before they can be fire-linked together.

Fuel Efficient
The ship’s engines are top-of-the-line fine-tuned machines.  The ship has double the normal operating Range.

Hardened Armor
The ship’s armor has been infused with an exceptionally dense alloy, allowing it to retain one-half of its Armor Value against Armor Piercing weapons and rounds.

Lucky
The ship has 3 Ship Luck Points, usable by the pilot or crew in the same manner as character Luck Points, save they cannot be used for a Lucky Break, and the Escape Death option can only be used to prevent the ship from being Destroyed.

Obstacle Avoidance Computer
The Obstacle Avoidance Computer is an advanced kind of autopilot, smart enough to spot incoming collision threats and alter the ship’s course to avoid them.  Typically, it is used to get ships safely through hazardous space, such as the asteroid rings around Jupiter and Saturn.  By itself, the Obstacle Avoidance Computer is capable of making Pilot 11 rolls to avoid such hazards, including up to two Dodge Actions per round against incoming missiles and Ramming attempts by other ships.  If used in conjunction with the pilot’s own rolls, the Obstacle Avoidance Computer grants a +2 Bonus to all rolls used to avoid obstacles, missiles, and other collisions.

Submersible
All ships can handle being submerged in water, but go too deep and their hulls, designed to keep pressure in not out, will fail.  Ships with the Submersible Edge can go hundreds of times deeper and maneuver underwater like a Submarine (Speed 20 MPH; Handling 0).  Ships without this Edge cannot maneuver underwater other than to submerge and surface.

System Redundancy
The ship is equipped with a variety of auxiliary and backup control systems.  +5 System Points.

Stealthy
The ship is sleek, hard to pick out from the black of space, and practically invisible to radar.  A Stealthy ship’s Escape Range is Long Range, rather than beyond Sensor Range, and grants a +2 to Conceal rolls used to hide the ship from casual observation.

Ship Flaws_
Readily Identifiable ('The Dandy Desperado' Emblazoned Across Ship)
Something about the ship stands out – the make, the graphics, the human skeletons chained to the hull perhaps?  As such, the ship can readily be identified on looks alone.

Flaw Notes
Bounty Head
The character is wanted for some crime (real or not) and has a large bounty placed on his head.

At the start of each game session, the GM secretly rolls a die to determine if bounty hunters are going to crash the party sometime during the course of the game.

RollResult
1-10| No
11-15   | No, But Add +5 To Next Roll
16-20| Bounty Hunters
21-25| SSPB

Enemy (Serpent Vert Syndicate)
The character has an enemy (whether an individual or group) actively seeking to do him harm. More powerful enemies such as governments, corporations, or syndicates will usually put a bounty on the character as well (see Bounty Head), to help rope him into their clutches.

At the start of each game session, the GM secretly rolls a die to determine if the character’s enemy shows up sometime during the course of the game.

RollResult
1-10| No
11-15| No, But Add +5 To Next Roll
16-20| Enemy’s Goons
21-25| Enemy

Heroic
The character is a sucker for those in need. He hates to see anyone suffer and can never turn down a sincere plea for help.

Obvious
The character has no sense of stealth. -3 Stealth Skill.

Background
As a young man, Inigo Montoya witnessed the murder of his father at the hands of a six fingered man. Or at least he thinks that is what happened, he was very young at the time and various bad experiences since then have seriously affected his memory.

As a result of this memory he dedicated his life to finding the six fingered man and getting his revenge with his sword. So first he had to buy a sword and find the man. To this end he began to learn computers and hacking in order to be able to search for the man he sought through the many worlds secure webs.

Several years passed and his dedication paid off with his skills as a hacker growing, along with his waistline. He had also purchached a highly austentacious sword and scabbard with which to perform his revenge when he finally found what he had been looking for. We'll sort of, he realized he had mixed up his childhood with a children's book and the Charicter he was named after. This left him as an overweight hacker with a cool sword so he joined an online group and helped hack into a website he thought was clearly part of a secret society.

Why a secret society? Well someone had to have messed with his memories hadn't they? It MUST HAVE BEEN A SECRET SOCIETY. Sadly the website he hacked was part of a very powerful corporation who very quickly tracked down those involved and placed bounties on their heads. Inigo managed to escape the initial raid on his house with only a large scar on his cheek and realized that the society were after him and he had to escape and change his identity.

He realized that the same book he was named for had the answer for him too! Run away and become a swashbuckling space captain! He traveled around and used his skills with computers to learn to pilot craft, becoming proficient in it as he finally began working out to loose the excess weight he had gained, even learning some combat skills.

Eventually his paranoia grew and he used the last of his funds (most gained through hacking) to buy and specially upgrade his own frigate to act as both his secret base to hide from the society as well as to use as his new swashbuckling ship. He then purchached an appropriately austentacious coat, grew a small moustache and recruited a crew. Most of them died but he gained some experience that way and got to know some better prospects for a crew who now serve on his ship hunting bounties. He used a mix of money and skills to make the ship totally legit as a bounty hunting vessel.

He did sadly develop a bit of a hero complex from doing all this and dispite his growing paranoia he finds himself unable to turn down someone in distress, especially ladies, as a dandy space captain he just has to save ladies in distress. He sees himself as an ancient pirate captain who's ship is stealthy and can't be found then seems to appear from no-where to strike fear into the heart of bad guys and the secret society's servents...

He initially recruited some idealistic no-names as his crew but managed somehow to convince a rather adept cyborg on the run to join him, the fool thought he was just running from a syndicate but Capt. Montoya knew better, it was the secret society. They were the ones who crashed the gatestone into the moon afterall, controlling the syndicate was nothing to them. He then managed to recruit one other real bounty hunter, Jacob Smith, who was looking for a crew to fly with, when they got on the trail of a Psychic. Stuff happened that could be summed up as it turned out to be a girl on the run so Capt. Montoya did the only appropriate thing possible, pretended to deliberate over it and act hard then immediately invite her to the crew.

Some bounty hunters did eventually catch up to them and killed the no-names, but they were seat fillers really and allowed the real crew to be recruited finally... Especially his fellow hacker and friend Gilbert, Gilbert had provided a lot of help in the initial ship upgrades however had seemingly beep put off joining the crew due to the obviously weak no-names and some issues with his current gambling/robbery actions. Now the crew had 4 solid members and he had escaped his latest situation, timing was perfect to get him aboard.

The next recruit was some sort of Rock Magician, Capt. Montoya didn't really understand him or listen too closely to what he was saying since he had just picked up an anomalous signal on the ships antenna (turned out to be a local soap opera) but the guy said Gilbert had asked him to join. Gilbert didn't say he hadn't so he said "sure" and let him join.

The new recruit, Mr. Mayhem brought a young lady with him soon after and asked of she could join too. It seemed like she was prepared to argue her point and convince him. Mr. Mayhem mentioned that she was in need of a safe place so Capt. Montoya immediately put two and two together. The Secret Society was after her. He agreed to let he join before she could speak as it was his duty to aid people, especially enemies of The Society.

Around the time time Natalia joined Capt. Montoya took out a local add and some fliers to help recruit his last few members. Most real bounty hunters just laughed or sighed to themselves about this as few real hunters would ever do it this way but Montoya got lucky and actually got a responce from a young lady named 'Ethel'. He noted that she seemed keen and knew how to make traps and explosives so signed her up, can never have too many traps and explosives on board just incase!

The crew was then rounded out by the final member, a thief who leaves very badly made origami turtles at the scene of his crimes. Being obviously talented at infiltration and clearly working against the secret society due to the turtles being left at the scene as a sign of the resistance Cent. Montoya tracked him down, he finally decides for sure to recruit him after his self proclaimed head of security came to him to discuss it, Montoya missed most of the conversation but DID hear that he also had a turtle so they must get Along!

Following this the crew went on a couple of very small time bounties just to learn eachother abilities before setting out on the adventure proper... I mean serious bounty hunting...

Montoya dedicates some time to adapting his creations, making his RC cars and lil drones have cameras that feed back to his personal lil screen as well as the ship so Gil can controle them. He also rigs them up to each carry one block of C4 rigged with remote detonator in a way that they can drop it then drive/fly away (or be blown up with it depending on the situation).

Not sure exactly which things to roll for this but assuming electronics.

---

He then normally buys some spare comms for the crew, spare vac suits (one child size for the monkey) several small cameras for his cars and lil drones and spare tinkering electronics and mechanical parts.

---

Portable r/c gun emplacement designed for a shotgun and controllable with the universal remote/arm computer. (This could be made by Montoya and Sam and Gil instead of buying.)

Added 1 Armored Vac Suit, 4 Vac Suits, you already had mag boots, plus they come standard in vac suits, and you have the R/C Shotgun mount well underway.  :)
