Nimbus
John's Nimbus is strong and proud. It's a nimbus that shows a connection to his ancestors and to the future. It's regimented, strict and orderly, purely black and white. When the magic comes through, it's streaks out as a multitude of hard straight lines, never curved.

Physical Description
Raised in the upscale of upscale homes, John dresses well, with fashionable suits for each day of the week and matching ties. He's black haired, tall, and it's obvious he got his looks 100% from his mother.

History
Child of the rich and privledged, John wanted to give back to society. He loved history, and wasn't shabby at math and science, so he felt teaching was a good idea.

His parents let him live out this fantasy, expecting him to get tired of it and return to the family buisness. Plus, it's a great PR move.

Pride clouds his work though, as he tends to be an awful teacher. People keep him since his family helps out the school, and he's an absolute hit with the kids. He's just so forgetful. He has managed to make the 12th grade class go to DC for a trip though. Smithonian here they come!

All embodied familiars have the Innocuous Numen (see pp. 321-322). It is very good at not being noticed by others. Anyone but its bonded mage suffers a –2 penalty on perception rolls to notice the familiar, unless it does something to draw attention to itself.

Learning Curve (Cleaning House)
Robor didn't really manage to do anything this time around. He screwed around with the plant spirit, and got demolished by Kark's control over her spirits. Most of that took place because he did not consider that he could possibly be weak, and wanting to prove that he can do just as much as the others. Spirit mages should be more cautious and tempered, not aggressive and foolish. He needs to work on that.

Learning Curve (Loose Ends)
Robor's spirit magic has a really big role in the job. Most of the time, he should have spent more magic on granting others the ability to touch/sense spirits. It was foolhardy to try and do it all by his lonsesome.

Robor himself is struggling to figure out his place as a desciple. He's seen how the evil can corrupt and destroy children, either by binding their souls, or vampirin them. But he's still unable to make it right. He's a step behind. The little ghost children won't be able to live again. Robor understands that he needs to think ahead, and figure out ways to stop these things before they get to far.

Learning Curve (Dark Web)
Robor is just now starting to get the hang of his spirit powers. In the Internet, even though he was obviously out of his element, and transformed into a little vacation-mode version of himself, his use of magic kept the group out of trouble, and kept him around a lot longer than he would have thought. Before, his first instinct has been to attack spirits with damage, or to attempt to control spirits way out of is league, but by actually taking over weaker spirits, he could protect himself and others way more efficiently.

His magic strength isnt an issue anymore, its really only him thats the issue. He zoned out and had to travel the whole adventure in his pajamas, his willpower made him the first to get ejected from the dreamscape, and he has not been willinh to actively police other spirits. Thats on him he needs to better his own self to be able to actively take advantage of the strengths given to him.

Learning Curve (Payback's a Bitch)
Deals with devils are tricky. It's just like in the books, they'll never make a deal that doesn't give them the advantage. And that makes it all the more important to get rid of them.

On the other side, Robor is getting sick and tired of reacting to supernatural threats. The monsters of DC are always the first to make the move, and Robor has no interest in letting that continue. Too many Innocents have been hurt by the disciples simply not knowing about the threat. That has to stop. It's time to start acting, rather than reacting.
