So the shared hosting server that hosts BHB was attacked with the WhiteRose Crypto hack and had to be taken down and restored. Apparently the backup server also had issues, so they had to move everything on the backup server to a temp server, restore and data check it and then they will migrate it all back onto a new permanent server after they get all their client sites up.
Being that they were a shared hosting server, they had hundreds of sites and content to restore. Then they had to do some magic to get our MySQL connection (that the forum runs on) to work.
Hopefully this is finally over and we are back in business.
I still expect minor interruptions from time to time, but I hope this is the last time I see a week long crash!
Time to do some backups, haha!
