The mechanic build will never have seen one in person or have training on driving them so will require a roll or two to see if he can work out how to make it work. The Warthog

The M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle, abbreviated as the M12 LRV, and more commonly referred to as the Warthog, is a United Nations Space Command ground vehicle. The M12 LRV is a variant of the M12 Force Application Vehicle and features a mounted M41 Light Anti-Aircraft Gun. (Gatling gun) This is the UNSC fast, light maneuverable vehicle designed for scouting and taking out infantry while maneuvering at speed. The special axel and steering system makes it significantly more responsive than standard vehicles. Use it to scout and scythe through small numbers of enemies but don't get close to heavy weapons as grenades and explosions will flip the vehicle or worse. Some reports of plasma fire affecting systems- unconfirmed.

The Scorpion Tank

The M808 Main Battle Tank, commonly known as the Scorpion, is the most common armored fighting vehicle employed by the UNSC during the Human-Covenant war, it is used in operations requiring heavy firepower or an anti-vehicular platform. Combining firepower, resilience and mobility, the Scorpion has proven itself formidable and earned the respect of friend and foe alike. This is a tank, you all know what a tank does, it moves on tracks, has heavy armour and has a large main gun for blowing stuff to pieces. The tracks are split into 4 sections for better mobility and maneuverability. Expect this vehicle to blow up most things you find opposing you. The driver controls the main gun, the machine gun is turret mounted on the front of the tank with the gunner mostly concealed in an armoured foxhole.

The Ghost

The most common covenant vehicle seen. A light armoured single person vehicle with twin front mounted rapid fire plasma weapons. Often described as a wierd hover bike due to its anti-grav movement system. Very fast and very deadly it has been seen running over and 'splatting' marines as well as mowing groups down with its plasmas. It is reported that the driver is vulnerable to standard fire and grenades. Often bright blue or purple in colour.

The Wraith

The covenant heavy vehicle seen on many battlefields. Described as a giant blue hover-tank it fires giant plasma charges, like a mortar, over long range. These explosions are devastating to anything they hit with large shock waves on detonation as well as the plasma flare capable of burning right through steel plating. The charge can also be fired at close range and the tank has a rapid fire plasma turret for closer range defence.

The Chopper

Confirmed sightings on at least 1 battlefield the chopper appears to be half hover-vehicle and half motor bike with an oversized double wheel on the front. They are armed with some form or rapid fire heavy weapons and large spike for ramming infantry and lightly armoured vehicles.

The Banshee

Alien all purpose fighter. The banshee as it has been named by the few survivors who have seen it in action is an all-round attack aircraft. Capable of maneuvers that would tear human craft apart it has been described as dancing around in the air. It's armaments defiantly include but may not be limited to; twin rapid fire plasma cannons and a heavy plasma 'bomb'. They have been seen to easily outmaneuver human aircraft and destroy aircraft, vehicles and infantry with equal speed and efficiency.

'Falcon'

The UH-144 Falcon is a versatile, tilt-and transverse-rotor, multi-purpose utility helicopter. Two Falcons can transport a fully-equipped fireteam faster than any other previous system, and provide overwhelming fire support in most weather conditions. The aircraft's crew consists of one pilot, two crewmen who may serve as door gunners, and three passengers. The pilot also controls a nose mounted auto-cannon on combat specific models. This is the all-round troop transport and fast assault light aircraft for the UNSC. It can be retrofitted with emp-grenade launching systems instead of machine guns for greater anti-vehicle abilities but it's main strength is it's speed and maneuverability, getting troops to the front line fast while providing covering fire.
