Seth's Medic

This marine was an average shot on the range and an average driver in the warthog however he had the guts to put down his gun and take out bandages instead. He has advanced triage training and if he has the kits can provide much better medical aid than a standard marine, possibly even saving a life where others couldn't. Just don't put him in charge of the sniper rifle or rocket launcher.

Backstory

Raised in a happy home to wealthy Giant Fighting Crab Robot entrepreneurs, Jackson was a good child who excelled at early schooling. Sadly while still at a young age he watched his Parents get stabbed by communist mimes outside of a theater and was left as a rich orphan. He moved in with his Uncle and Aunt who raised him as their own but after his Aunt choked to death on uncooked calamari right in front of him, he became jaded.  His Uncle tried to prove to him the value of human life, and ended up being shot by a fledgling supervillain. He swore over his Uncle's dying body to become a medic, so he'd never have to helplessly stand by and watch someone die again. He was still too young to enlist though so he took a temp job as a janitor at a small hospital; ducking into closets and changing into a doctor's coat to try and save peoples' lives whenever no one was looking. Luckily he turned 18, and enlisted at the Academy instead using his family fortune.

Current story:

Has developed a moderately unreasonable hatred of Steve, for sacrificing Will in his mad quest for weaponry.

Somehow came to the conclusion that the middle of an unexpected assault by alien forces was the best time in his (probably short) life to become a pacifist.

Secretly in love with Rouge.

Naru's Tech - dead

The electronics and technology specialist, often called the hacker. This guy knows human electronics inside and out and given the right tools can get into most human systems and devices that aren't locked down by ONI (their encryption is on a whole different level and trying to hack them leads to people being hastily relocated... At 3am) he is an average shot at the range and has rarely if ever used sniper or heavy weapons however his information is usually way ahead of his fellow cadets and he has intimate knowledge of the bases systems, whether he is supposed to or not. He can drive but nothing fancy unless it's in a computer game.

Backstory

Born in the slums of Etradinus VI, a prosperous mining world rich in Rare Earth Elements and electronics hub, Will had to get computer-smart quickly just to survive. Despite the dangers posed by the insurrectionist attacks on the city, he managed to make it out, learning about electronics and computer systems in the free school and self-teaching whenever he could. Being smart and willing to learn he managed to land an electronics job with a large company who worked for the UNSC which allowed him to become proficient with technology in general. During his time there, he became as skilled in navigating computer systems as he was in repairing them. When a visiting UNSC frigate was having electronics trouble , Will realized that the problem was one he had seen before due to certain system fault and was able to tell them how to fix it right away. The captain told the company that the UNSC could use a tech like him on their ships and the company agreed to sponsor Will through military academy in return for 'good favor' when it came to future contracts.

FirePlay's Grease Monkey

The resident mechanic in training, this marine has a an affinity for machines and driving them. If its human or machine and moves he can probably fix or drive it. He doesn't excel at weaponry and only gets average scores at the firing range but his ability to fix vehicles on the go and to drive just about anything with a high level of skill is what he banks on.

Backstory:
 Mikael was born in Abaskun, Arcadia, Procyon System. Arcadia was an untouched paradise with a healthy tourist income, despite the constant flux of traveling civilians Arcadia remained mostly uninhabited outside the major cities like Pirth City and it's many jungles were left intact.
During his early years Mik worked with various vehicle work/repair shops, usually having to deal with upset tourists in the process. Eventually he joined up with the Arcadia Police and worked as a Mechanic with them for a while before joining the UNSC and moving off planet. Before he left he was a pilot/driver and enjoyed driving the D77C-APC Pelican or his own yellow Spade.
 He still videos with his father (via a computer in the comp room, every cadet is allowed a weekly video chat out though they know they are monitored with a 1 second lag to prevent classified info getting out) who lives back on Arcadia and enjoys learning how the Mechanics Workshop that his father had set up shortly after he left is doing.

Aman's Heavy

After going through the standard weapons training she was seen to always have the biggest smile on her face when explosives were involved. Having taken advanced training in heavy weaponry and ordinance this marine is a specialist in everything from rockets and turrets to demolitions. If you want something big removed fast then this is your woman. She can handle almost any standard explosive device or heavy weapon the UNSC has to offer however her marksmanship is somewhat lacking at range and her driving isn't the safest option.

Backstory
Nina Kalagin was born on an outer colony founded by a group from Russia who dreamed back to the motherlands glory days centuries before. Her colony did not side with the insurrectionists so she was raised to be a warrior in order to defend against them. Not the strongest, not the fastest, not the heaviest of her Russian comrades, but a rather decent mix of it all, she survived her childhood, which is more then can be said then for many. She quickly joined the Academy, ready to serve the UNSC and now the human race. She speaks with a harsh accent, slowly and deliberately.
Notes
Most heavy weapons like the rocket launchers and mounted weapons will be calculated using the targeting skill as they use built in computer tracking and detection systems.

Drak's All-Rounder

The good at everything but not specialized in anything marine. This GI has done all the standard training along with the basic training for MOST weapons in the standard UNSC arsenal. He is proficient in most standard weaponry and is capable of using sniper and heavy weapons but he is no trained marksman with them and don't expect him to have experience with EVERY big gun you find. He has also taken all basic vehicle training so can drive most of the ground vehicles found on base but don't expect fancy maneuvers.

Backstory
'Drakalicious', as he likes to be called, Grew up in a fairly happy home in the Northern Part of the North American continent on Earth. He did well in both his academic studies and sports however he had a crippling fear of advanced logarithmic math problems. His parents were supportive, but as his finals drew closer, Drackalicious became more and more erratic. This all finally culminated on the day of the exam with him appearing oddly calm but only writing "I am a fish" as the answer to every question. Fearing the social implications of their son having gone crazy, his parents quickly had him castrated and tried to send him to join a religious movement in the far East. Sadly they found that the pamphlet they were reading was actually from a museum display and was a couple of hundred years old. the cult had died out as predicted, they couldn't reproduce. Finally stuck with a son who had gone mad in his math test and was now a Eunich, they gave him hormone replacement drugs and shipped him off to a military academy, betting on the fact that the military would keep his record quiet.

Daed's Marksman

The ranged weapon specialist. This marine found that while others put 3 out of 5 in the black mid-range, he put 5 out of 5. Trained in all ranged and sniper weaponry this marine specializes in ranged warfare whether it's trying for head shots with a BR or DMR at 100 yards or sniping at over a mile, he can give it a good try. He has seen many of the heavy weapons in the armoury but has little to no training with them so really don't expect him to sling a rocket launcher onto his shoulder and pick off a moving target. He can drive the warthog but has little practical experience.

Background
He grew up in a small village in a rural community, there were literally only a handful of buildings in the entire place. He was raised by his mother, his father was never mentioned in his house and he still doesn't know why, the entire village never mentions him. When he turned 14 he decided that enough was enough, he spent a lot of time speaking to the creepy old guy that lived nearby who convinced him to walk out on his mum and gave him a pet rat to be his first friend. He told his Mum he was leaving. She didn't care and let her 14 year old son walk out.
He began his travels by trying to get to the next real town, it was tricky as the place was infested with dangerous animals but after fending them off and leaving them for dead to be eaten by other animals he met a few other kids in the forest, beat them up and took some of their money and belongings.
Once he arrived at the next town he met a girl around his age, maybe a little older, she was always talking about being 'wet'. He got into a fight with her and the guys that hung around her and beat her pretty badly. She decided to join him anyway as she seemed to have a pretty messed up life herself and liked guys that beat her.
Around this time some new guys showed up, tried to beat them up and steal from them. luckily despite being older and seemingly well know criminals he was able to get away with his new girl. They began traveling together, they would enter peoples houses and steal from them, pick fights with just about everyone they found and rob them after.
After a while he came to a new town where some older guy ran his own gang of wannabe 'hard men' they managed to beat him and he decided to join up with them as they were strong. He also liked the girl but couldn't make a move on her yet.
After more travels, robbing and muggings of people they fended off attacks from strangers along with the original gang of criminals who kept coming back after them despite being beaten up each time. They finally heard of a legendary group of gang leaders that they decided to challenge. They had to beat up a few subordinates to get to them but finally managed it. They thought they had won and were in charge of the whole region now but then they found the Creepy Old Guy's Son waiting. It seems that the old guy only sent him out as a challenger for his son. They battled and finally beat him up good, securing their title as the best.
Then he turned 19 and joined the UNSC academy.
