Edge & Power NotesAdrenal Booster The Adrenal Booster intensifies the body’s natural adrenaline rush, granting the user +2 Initiative and an additional Action on the first round of every combat.
Cerebral ComputerThe Cerebral Computer is an in-head super computer with built in comlink.
The Super Computer portion is one of the most powerful computing system of the day, giving its user a +2 bonus to all Tech (Computers) rolls.
The Comlink portion is a short range (10 miles) encrypted radio communications device, allowing its user hands free communication with others tuned into the link. Communications received on the Comlink are sent by tiny vibrations into the user’s skull, which are picked up by the inner ear and ‘heard’ by the user. The device makes no actual sound, so those standing nearby hear nothing. Conversely, the device also reads and transmits the tiny vibrations created in the skull by the user’s voice, able to pick up and transmit even a whisper.
Chem PlantThe Chem Plant is an artificial organ designed to produce and inject a lifetime of bio-chemical concoctions directly into the bloodstream according to the following predetermined stimuli:
- The Chem Plant will automatically oxygenate the blood when oxygen levels drop, allowing the user to go without breathing for as long as his environment requires.
- The Chem Plant instantly rallies against any introduced pathogens or poison, granting the user complete immunity to all Disease and any blood or nerve agent based Poisons.
- The Chem Plant automatically produces Antirad whenever the user is exposed to Radiation.
- The Chem Plant automatically administers Stimdose whenever the user is KO’d and at the user’s Free Action to reduce Fatigue.
- The Chem Plant will also administer Pain Killer at the user’s Free Action.
- The Chem Plant also contains storage bays for three doses of any other drug the user wishes to inject into them, which can then be instantly administered at any time at the user’s Free Action.
Exceptional VehicleThe character owns an unusual or heavily modified vehicle, such as a tank, hovercraft, or spy satellite. Choose any single vehicle with an Availability of MTN10 or higher, or take a common vehicle and modify it with weapons, armor, and gadgets (subject to GM approval). This feat can also be taken twice for the same vehicle, in order to more heavily modify an already Exceptional Vehicle. Exceptional Vehicles bought with this Edge can always be repaired or replaced if damaged, lost, stolen, or destroyed during the course of the game (though it can take a few months in some cases).
Quick DrawThe character can draw a weapon and have it ready for use as a Free Action rather than the normal Move Action.
Multi ShotThe character can take two Ranged attacks per Attack Action, sacrificing accuracy for speed. Multi Shots cannot Crit, suffer a -2 Penalty on each attack, and cannot be used with Called Shots or any other roll that requires a MTN to succeed.
Rapid ShotThe character has superior speed and grace attacking at distance. He can use back-to-back Attack Actions (Attack + Attack) when making Ranged attacks, without spending Surge Points during combat.
SharpshooterThe character has a dead aim and suffers no penalties for Small or Tiny Size; opponents with Partial Cover; who are Prone; or when firing at or into opponents engaged in Close Quarter Combat (with the character or others). For targets of Miniscule Size the penalty is reduced to MTN 10 or Crit. Further, the user can also make Called Shots without first taking an Action to line up the shot.
Skill BoxThe Skill Box is another available ad-on to the Cerebral Computer and allows the user to upload specific languages or skill sets directly into his brain. Once a language or skill set is loaded, the character gains fluency in the languages or +2 non-Foci Skill Levels for the skill in question. Any language or skill (including Combat and Advanced Skills) can be uploaded from the Skill Box, though only one skill or language can be loaded at any one time and it takes one minute to change them out – during which time the synaptic overload causes temporary Catatonia.
Speed Switch The Speed Switch sends unique bioelectrical signals throughout the body, which cause an explosive twitchiness in the muscle fibers. The effects of this allow for very quick gross motor movement, which doubles the user’s Normal Movement speed and grants an additional Dodge Action each round.
Spacecraft, FighterThe character owns a fighter spacecraft. A Frighter Spacecraft bought with this Edge can always be repaired or replaced if damaged, lost, stolen, or destroyed during the course of the game (though it can take a few months in some cases).
Stitch Bots Stitch Bots are self-replicating nanites injected into the user’s body, programmed to find and repair major tissue damage. As long as the user of Stitch Bots is not Dead, he regains one Wound Point per hour, instead of the normal one per day. Stitch Bots do not affect Vitality Point recovery.
Uncanny Shot [1 Surge| Add | Instant]
Spend a Surge Point to make a single Armor Piercing Ranged attack (or) disregard the MTN normally associated with Called Shots while making a single Ranged attack.
Ship Edges_ArmedThe ship comes with a standard self-defense weapon package that includes: 20mmL police ship guns; Air-to-Air Missile (6) or Mini Missiles (6); and Chaff Defense (6).
Duel-Linked (Ship Guns)
Double X-Damage of successful hits with the ship 20mmL police guns.
Fly-by-WireInstead of a ship’s computer, the ship is controlled by superior mechanical engineering. This means the ship can’t be hacked or remote controlled.
Flaw NotesBounty HeadThe character is wanted for some crime (real or not) and has a large bounty placed on his head.
At the start of each game session, the GM secretly rolls a die to determine if bounty hunters are going to crash the party sometime during the course of the game.
Roll | Result |
1-10 | | No |
11-15 | | No, But Add +5 To Next Roll |
16-20 | | Bounty Hunters |
21-25 | | SSPB |
Dependent (Little Girl)
The character has someone that depends on him for protection and support, whether a child, family member, or friend.
At the start of each game session, the GM secretly rolls a die to determine if something will threaten the character’s dependent during the game. Losing a dependent is a traumatic experience. Should it happen, the character receives no XP for that game session, and drops the Dependent flaw.
Roll | Result |
1-15 | | No |
16-20 | | Yes |
HeroicThe character is a sucker for those in need. He hates to see anyone suffer and can never turn down a sincere plea for help.
