The Saint (Killer) watched in satisfaction as the wood-chipper corroded away under his touch. The rust was like a ravenous cancer, spreading unchecked throughout the machinery - until the whole thing just fell in on itself.
For a moment, the soul jar was still intact, until the Saint (Killer) took a few swings at the remains with his sword. That was the final straw, and in an unseen burst of ephemeral energy - practically blinding to Robor and the Saint - a myriad of entities were cast out into Twilight.
The Spaniard Miguel was among the ghosts. He shook his head to clear it a moment, before saying, "I think being a tree was worse. Not by much, but yes, I am glad to be out of that thing."
Of the other ghosts, thirteen were of small children, each under five years of age, and from all nationalities. The fourteenth was that of a Filipino Police Detective, who had once gotten a little too close to discovering Kajet Kajet's dark secret nearly six years ago.
A tunnel of light opened into Twilight, before the confused and disoriented souls; and two female angels of death floated down to round up the children and lead them through. They cast a wary glance at the disciples, but said nothing, simply going about their business, comforting and guiding the frightened spirits of the dead children.
The ghost of the Filipino Police Detective also went through, while the various minor spirits fled the supernal light.
Miguel sighed, looking at the departing souls. "One day I will be worthy."
The one major spirit meanwhile, skittered into the shadows of the warehouse (still in twilight). It appeared as a naked, androgynous form of sickly mauve colored skin that looked positively starved. Its bald head was featureless, save for a ring of nine unblinking beady black eyes running around its circumference - giving the demon 360 degree vision.
It had no mouth to speak of (or speak with), but it did make odd clicking sounds, as it darted back and forth looking around, under, and behind everything - as if desperately searching for something. Its neurotic anxious behavior seemed to create an air of nervousness, as if it could erupt into irrational violence at any moment.
Of course, only Robor, UsdiYona, and Miguel could see it clearly - while the Saint (Killer) saw it as black slashes moving chaotically about his grim sight.
To Emend and Beats, the thing was completely invisible.
