For whatever flipping reason (and it very well maybe user error) my outbox isnt saving anything im telling it to.

yeah I've sent several to CDrive over the past few days and I keep having to ask him to quote me my stuff back because it isn't saving them.

Your Profile defaults to the 'Save Copy to Outbox' box being checked. If you uncheck it, then simply user error.

If it is not checked to begin with, then you may have de-selected it in your Profile (just go in and turn it back on again).

Had this problem since 815 EDT and has been getting worse as the day goes on. PC, Mobile via wifi and data.

Just does jot want me to connect to BhB at all. Jt was a fight just to post this lol

The Service Provided had an Issue earlier today and got things back up about 3 hours ago. Should completely resolve for you within 12 hours. Let me know tomorrow, if you are still having trouble.

Some colors you can make dark by typing 'dark' into the color name. Darkgray is the first I've ever seen that made it lighter...?

I don't foresee any real change in the Moderation level here on BHB - at least Moderator initiated. A few posts removed here-or-there, once in a great while, does not an Iron Handed Regime make.

At least I hope it doesn't feel that way.

There has been a DDoS attack on the Host server. It is being blocked/cleaned up but it will take a few days.

The slowdown issue has been traced to the database connection itself. If it is not resolved soon, I will try some cleanup here on BHB Wednesday-ish, which will mean putting BHB into Maintenance mode for an hour or two.

If I do, I'll likely try it early morning.

Minor glitch, don't know if I've missed any incoming messages because of it or not.

My messages keeps saying I have 1 message, but when I go to read it, there's no new reply.

Haven't got any incoming messages since the bug occurred, though the people I've sent messages to since have been online. So either everyone hates me or the bug is messing with it.

So, BHB works fine for me at home and (currently) in a cafe... and times out every time when I'm at work. Are there still unresolved issues, or is this on my side somehow?

I think we may be dealing with a United States wide internet problem that is being resolved slowly by the various ISPs.

BHB has been back to normal (for me anyway) since early yesterday, hopefully it keeps getting better for everyone.

If you still have problems at work in a day or so, let me know.

Part of our recent problem with BHB, turns out to be that we went and exceeded out database size limitation. As such, I had to purge the site of quite a bit to get things back to under 90% of the limitation.

Hopefully, this will mitigate the recent slowness issues, but I will be continuing to monitor that situation.

I am weighing the pros and cons of moving to another host provider, but really want to avoid that for as long as possible.

In the meantime, I will need everyone to actually prune their Private Messages - or eventually, I will be forced to flush them as well (but in that case, I won't know what to keep or remove), so best everyone takes responsibility for that themselves.
