Catmilk from a store, there are loads or ways but dipping the tip of a cloth into the milk then letting it suck the milk off often works.

Applying for jobs today. Found a software company that basically just went "Send your emails to this address", so I start up an email to send them it.

Put in title, say my name and that I'm interested in their company, then hit send instead of attachments.

Had a good 5 minute laugh thinking about the person who opens the email and finds that all that is inside is a short sentence saying I'm interested in their company, and nothing more haha.

so i will not be available much the next 2 days.

You remember all those stories about how my family just seems to be dropping off the map like flies?

Well my Uncle (just turned 44 mind you) Just was rushed to the hospital about an hour ago, had a blockage in his heart and went into Cardiac arrest. They took him to the Cath Lab but the docs said it was taking way to long and they were not making in progress so he is being rushed to surgery. slim chances at this point any good will come of it.

Keep me in your thoughts again. Will update you good or bad when I have more info...

Alright so.

Coronary artery had 2 90% blockages. Left ventricle was blocked about 85% by a large clot. They put a stent in and moved him to ICU where he is still currently in a medical coma. They got most of the blockage and are still debating bypass surgery. Due to the artery being so congested or something another. But for now, it looks like he is going to be somewhat okay.

Keep my Uncle in your thoughts please.

Wow - neighbors' houses (two of them) just burnt down - the third and fourth house up from mine. They went up incredibly fast - just sixty seconds from flames licking out the windows to two house inferno!

Luckily, the only person in either of them got out (not sure about their pets though). Both houses are still smoldering... They are total losses.

I'm back - the block is still blocked off, so no leaving yet.

My house is fine (I had two houses buffering mine + the good fortune of being upwind of them). Both houses next to the two that burned down got their siding melted off though from the heat.

More like sobering.

I can't imagine trying to get people out of a house that goes up that fast. I ran over to the non-burning side of one house to yell in a window to see if anyone was still inside. That's when the old guy that was inside the one house came out.

His hair was singed all over and I was practically staggered from the heat radiating out from the house - and that side hadn't even caught on fire yet.

I can't imagine the loss of all their stuff either.

Didn't know whether this counted as an American holiday or not, but back when America actually was impressive and cared for itself, 45 years ago today Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon.

So yeah, that's pretty neat and stuff.

Really? Hmm... I though that was next week. :D
America has far to many stupid holidays throughout the year and the important ones get buried.

Hmmm airports are boring. Got here early and were the only ppl checking in for our flight then the only ppl going through security. Walked through from doors to lounge in under 5mins, now have to wait for an hour...

When we came in from the US, customs took forever to get through, even though the rest of the airport was totally empty.  When we were leaving, it was super easy.

Yes.  My wife says it's technically a rainforest.  It was so much hotter than I expected.
Also, I thought it was supposed to rain a lot.  it was depressingly sunny.

Ugh. I need to write an essay about what I'd change school-wise last year and I really can't think of anything aside from 'work hard' since I think I did rather well last year anyhow >_>

Just need to think of a BS thing that I can stretch to 3 paragraphs. :P

If you want the teachers to love it pick a method of studying or reflection and use it as the basis

eg. This is how I studied and planned my time but when I used the **** method to reflect upon my work I realised I should put more effort into THESE sections and try the ***** approach to note taking and memorization

Just got home and noticed that we were down. It's relatively quick to get us back up, but a shame that we can be down so long and the host providers don't even notice. I have an excuse (I'm at work all day). They can't use that excuse, because that's what they are at work all day for. The bastards...  :P
