Tattoos = cats
Most people have None, One, Two, or More than Five.
Of the people who have none, many of them are more than happy to talk about how awful they are, and how they would never ever get one. A few of them talk about how great they are, and how they would get one if only they could, but it's just not feasible right now.
Of the ones who have more than five, many of them talk about them all the time, and they're always ready when the opportunity arises to get another one.
Edit: For the people who only have one, generally when they talk about their one, its about how awesome that one in particular is, and how they wouldn't get another one because it would detract from how special the one and only is.
