This morning my car didnt start. Unlike the previous times, lights and all came on, but it just didnt feel like it was trying. Took battery out, got it tested, passed. They fully charge it just in case, test again, fail. Sigh of relief, buy new battery, put it in, nothing changes. Had to pay for a tower to take it to a mechanic, now wait until tomorrow till they can look at it.

On the plus side, most people i asked seemed convinced its the starter and a quick/relatively cheap fix. On the down side, i had to buy a new battery and that didnt fix the problem. I also suspected it was the starter from the start, but no one really agreed with me till the end, so there was a lot of time wasted.

I hate cars.

Would certainly be cheaper.

For diagnostics + repiar + part a new starter (which they confirmed was the issue), will be $432,

+$135 I paid for the new battery
+$45 to tow it to where it got repair

So just over $600 for this time's repairs. Best part is the start was already replaced 2 1/2 years ago by dealership, yet they don't consider it under warranty anymore.

Fark cars.

Edit: oh bonus, its actually $100 more than the quote. Make that $700 for repair. Least it Farking works though.

Just left my neurologist's office. Apparently there's been some odd development with my seizures and now I have to schedule a week long EEG test.

I'll be admitted to the hospital for a week straight and I have to wear all these wires on my head. For a week straight.

Nah, they should have good WiFi so you can game more and they ensure you are looked after as they need you 'level' for the tests so think of it as a week long holiday where you get fed, get free WiFi and usually get to wear snazzy blue gowns that are sure to be all the rage in 10 years

You can also get them to install a modem in your head for an extra $60. Granted, you do look like an H.R. Giger painting afterward, but you'll get 4 bars in the Sahara for no additional cost. *sigh* Decisions decisions...
