We do our camping thing and apparently other gamers do too. I woke up this morning to find a guy dressed in a Battle Dress with a foam sword. We are not the only ones who like this sort of thing. It IS a no brainer though......Hotel- $800.00 aprox ( + taxes, tips for valet, and other charges) compared to Cabin-$ 250.00 ( 4 nights, quiet peaceful place, rustic atmosphere, great food and all the accomadations one needs). This is how to get two conventions for the price of going to one  :) So for all you folks who say they can not attend because of $$$$$$, Try this on for size. You will not be disappointed. ;D

That sounds like a seriously awesome option. What does the interior of the cabin look like? Secure to leave your stuff all day while downtown gaming all day?

Cabins have two twin beds (bunk) and a double bed, plus a little computer table and bench inside.  outside is a covered porch with porch swing, picnic table and fire pit.

Air conditioned and with a deadbolt and key (so yeah - pretty secure & dry) :)

Who doesn't love the yip yip monsters. They are the greatest. Animal from the muppets is my next favorite.

If only I could spell what he says.... @#$%^&**#=!!!!!!

He would make a good mate for my avatar the "Wenchinator"  ;)

Let's see... what six characters as PCs?

Kermit
Ms. Piggy
Gonzo
Fozzy Bear

What are the other main characters?

Well Scooter always helped run the show and actually had some smarts. For a scientist you gotta have Dr. Bunson Honeydew and or his assistant Beaker.

Rizzo the Rat or the little Shrimp guy (pepe?) would be good for getting into small places.

Honestly I would replace Fozzy with someone else...he always made me so sad with his lameness and uselessness. Animal would be 10 times funner to play than Fozzy! You gotta have someone start out with low sanity....that would be animal  :D

I'm Pro Fozzy- I constantly get told  he's the muppet I'm most like... But I agree Bunsen and Beaker would be good... but don't discount  Scooter, Statler and Waldorf, the Swedeish Chef (Hulu pulu id Catoolo ) or Sam the Eagle... And as a side note I have an Idea on a skit I wrote a long toime ago... if you want to shift to the"other" muppets.    A "Nightmare on Sesamee Street"  Vone... vone dead body.... wah haa haa haa....

That's funny enough to use - could be the Muppets visit and or save Seasamy Street  :D

I like Bunsun and Beaker, but see them more as majore NPCs...

Hmm...

My List 'O six might be

Kermit
Ms. Piggy
Gonzo
Fozy Bear
Ralph the Dog
Animal

Rowlf.

Rowlf the Dog. He rocks.

I would actually say Rizzo the Rat over Animal. Animal is too one dimensional, in my opinion.

Although I would ADORE playing Lew Zealand, with his boomerang fish. :D

Oh, Jeez, you had to ask:

Scooter
Rizzo
Rowlf
Statler & Waldorf
Sweetums
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem (including Animal!)

Somebody once told me he saw a Muppets Meet Cthulhu adventure at a con. I'll have to investigate further to find the source...

Rowlf is cool too.

Now I gotta watch my Muppet show dvds. :)

By the way Berka crew. Me and Jay are coming down for a visit next weekend (27th/28th). Would you guys be up for a game night? Friday night is best for us but maybe we can work out something for early-ish Saturday too. We're gonna try and get Nick and Ray too.

He's contacting Nick and Ray....Nick might have a school thing friday night so it's gonna be a mad scramble to find a time we can all do as usual! But I would love to get the gang together.

We have modules I can whip up characters for, I can whip up a scenario myself no problem. Just gotta decide WHAT to play...D&D, Exalted, mixed white wolf party, who knows what madness I will pick!

This will put a nice change on it. I think you will have a lot more options now won't you?

We had a birthday party for our two year old today. A friend of ours had it at her house. She provided all of the food and everything. It was a good time. It is really cool to have good friends! :)

The kids go to school around here on Wednesday. How about where you all live? ;D

Jen started teaching last week, and my two school age girls start tomorrow. Tonight I begin the lunch-box assembly line for my family. I have to make 6 lunches every night, (4 for the kids, plus me and the wifey) since my little ones are going to a babysitters starting tomorrow.

We got a canoe trip planned for four fun filled days. BZ and I on Friday, the moms and 4 kids are joining Saturday and we are trading two kids on Sunday. Sounds like a rat race? It is. But well worth it. Did you have to canoe upstream at all? The last time we went, it was windy and we hurt too. I feel your pain. :P

It will be fun though. We are gonna be trapped on an island so we are gonna possibly run an adventure to kill 4 or more hours. ;D
